Amal Qutub is a registered social worker and has completed her undergraduate degree in Human Rights and Equity Studies at York University, and a master’s degree in Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. Amal has particular expertise working with children, adolescents, and families supporting their biopsychosocial and spiritual wellbeing. Amal’s approach is informed by her training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). As a lifelong learner, Amal is passionate about education and community service, she is an education facilitator with Naseeha Mental Health and she maintains a special interest in engaging in community-based research. Amal is able to facilitate sessions in Arabic.
