Sumbel Malik is a psychoeducational consultant working under the direct supervision of Adam Ghemraoui, MA, Psychologist. She has a Master’s degree in School and Clinical Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in psychometric testing from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Toronto, Ontario.
Sumbel has extensive experience working in school boards and private practices with respect to conducting psychoeducational assessments to help parents and school teams better understand a student’s strengths and areas for growth. At Cedarway Therapy, she offers psycho-educational, attentional, gifted, and socio-emotional testing for children and adolescents aged 3 through 18. Sumbel enjoys working in a one-on-one setting with children and adolescents and collaborating with parents and school based professionals in facilitating resources and support. She strives for high standards of practice and strong ethical standards when working with children and adolescents.
Sumbel is currently completing her post-masters work experience as required by the College of Psychologists of Ontario in order to eventually register as a Psychological Associate.
