Saba Rizvi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and an Art Therapist who works
with individuals of all ages, as well as with couples. Her focus is trauma, chronic illness,
relationships, stress relief, and anxiety, and depression.
Saba has been active in the mental health and medical field for over 15
years and has been practicing as a therapist for over 5 years now. She has successfully
introduced Art Therapy at the long-term care units at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial
Hospital and Milton District Hospital, as well as at Nisa Homes and Naseeha and has worked closely with the Brain Injury Societies in Ontario. Saba also
has experience working with individuals from Indigenous backgrounds, helping them
manage intergenerational trauma, PTSD, and providing trauma-informed treatment.
Saba has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief
Therapy (SFBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
(DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also certified in
Neurorehabilitation for individuals living with brain injuries and is currently training in
Gottman Couples Counselling as well as in Specialized Advanced Training for Autism in
Children.
