Saba Rizvi is a compassionate and skilled Registered Psychotherapist and certified Art Therapist, specializing in trauma, chronic pain and illness, relationships, stress relief, anxiety, and depression. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health and medical fields, Saba has spent the last 5 years as a therapist, integrating art therapy into her practice to provide clients with creative and effective tools for healing and self-expression.

Saba Rizvi’s specialized training in Art Therapy provides Adults, children and youth with a creative and engaging way to address mental health challenges such as trauma, stress, anxiety, and emotion regulation. By integrating art into therapy, Saba offers young clients a safe, non-verbal outlet to express their emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This approach is particularly effective for children and teens who may struggle to articulate their feelings through traditional talk therapy. Through guided art-based activities, Saba helps them explore their inner world, build self-awareness, and enhance emotional resilience. Her compassionate and tailored approach fosters a supportive environment where children and youth feel empowered to navigate their challenges, reduce anxiety, and achieve emotional balance.Her expertise in art therapy enables clients to explore and process emotions, trauma, and stress in a unique and non-verbal way, fostering emotional resilience and personal growth. 

She has collaborated with Brain Injury Societies across Ontario, offering neurorehabilitation therapy for individuals living with brain injuries. Additionally, Saba is highly experienced in working with Indigenous communities, providing trauma-informed care to address intergenerational trauma, PTSD, and mental health challenges.

Saba’s therapeutic approach is holistic and tailored, drawing from her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also certified in Neurorehabilitation and is pursuing advanced training in Gottman Couples Counseling and Specialized Autism Therapy for children.
