Maryam Moazzami is a Clinician providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults, working under the supervision of Adam Ghemraoui, MA, Psychologist. She specializes in trauma-informed care, particularly for first responders, and uses evidence-based approaches to treat individuals dealing with PTSD. Maryam integrates Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) into her work, offering comprehensive support for those recovering from trauma, managing PTSD and related conditions.
In addition to her work with first responders, Maryam supports individuals with a variety of other mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and life transitions. She is deeply committed to working collaboratively with clients, taking a client-centred and integrative approach that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and emotion-focused techniques to help individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.
Maryam’s work extends beyond individual therapy; she conducts thorough mental health and psychoeducational assessments, providing clients with insights into their emotional and psychological well-being. She also works closely with parents, equipping them with tools to manage and address their children’s emotional and behavioural concerns.
Maryam holds a Master of Psychology in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, and she is in the process of accumulating hours towards registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
