Abdul Wasey Faruqi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who provides services to adults and seniors.
As a South Asian, first generation immigrant, third culture kid, and a father of three highly-amusing kids, he is very interested in helping BIPOC clients to provide culturally sensitive reflection spaces in both individual and group settings. He is passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult emotions, thoughts, and patterns of behaviour that may be impacting their relationships. Together with his clients, he hopes to build a deeper understanding of themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and cultivate more meaningful relationships with those around them. He is especially passionate about helping BIPOC men get to a better place emotionally. He can help people who are struggling with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues, through an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space. He works from an existential and culturally responsive and social just framework.
